Just in case you hadn’t heard of it – this is the online idea storing database of awesome that is Pinterest. For those of you who have hundreds of folders hidden away who knows where on your hard drive with ideas you just MUST try someday in the realms of food, fashion, photography, travel, design, etc…this is the place you can save all those ideas neatly, while letting others in on your visual inspiration. In other news – it’s hot out. Have you been outside lately? I don’t think it’s much worse than any other central Illinois summer, but the hottest days this year consistently seem to be falling on Friday’s or Saturday’s – wreaking havoc for those in wool suits and layers of beautiful dress 🙂 Honestly though my couples this year have had the mindset of marines in training – they are willing to put up with 110 heat indexes for the sake of their wedding memories – oh how I wish I had their heat resistance!(I do not) The image below was taken on one such scorching day, and I honestly believe these two would have stayed out another hour if necessary – such has been the dedication of my brides and grooms this year. A few of my beautiful couples have also opted for my beloved “after session” to take their images on a day when the decides to be more reasonable 🙂 and for those of you who have read my blog at all – you know how I do LOVE after sessions.

Oooh, I’m addicted to Pinterest! Best thing ever. What’s your pinterest username? I tried to search for you but it just came up with 700 people called Deidre, or some of your pics that people had pinned.

I just signed up for Pinterest and love the idea – can’t wait to use it and of course follow you, once I figure out how to add you. I’m having the same issues as the other commenters, but I will get there! You always find such pretty, inspiring things, so I know I have to follow you. =)
