Beautiful couple plus beautiful Boulder Colorado mountain scenery = one exceedingly happy photographer. I few weeks before our trip to the mountains I put out a note to see if anyone was interested in a session while we were out there, and these central Illinois transplants got in touch and I’m so glad they did! The skies decided to break loose with a deluge of rain and huge hail right before our shoot but it only made for some beautiful dramatic skies and lovely temperatures. Heather (a  photographer herself – have I mentioned that I LOVE photographing other photographers? Because I really really do.) was an adventurous soul who went barefoot for a good portion of our shoot – cactus thorns and all! Being able to combine three of my favorite things – hiking,photographs and fun couples – into one evening pretty much makes for the most wonderful day in my books.  Thank you both for hiking in your dress shoes/no shoes and for being such wonderful company and looking like a gorgeous Swiss couple all the while 🙂
