This entire day had such an awesome feel to it – I immediately fell in love with the Elmore Stock Barn upon arriving, it is so cozy and beautifully lit and everything a barn wedding/reception should be – especially wonderful with those wide open barn doors letting lovely light and lovely air flow in! I loved Jackie’s color palate of soft sherbet-y peaches, greenery and browns – so lovely and fresh and unexpected. Once again the forecast had predicted dire temperatures (100) but it was only a cool 93 after all was said and done. If you’ve ever been in a wedding in the heat of summer, you know it is NO treat to wear a heavy dress or suit in that weather, and rightly so most people complain a bit about it (I know I do!) But honestly these two just took everything as it came and were so full of joy and were down for any and every location photo-wise…of course that earned them a few gold stars in my book 😉
