Sunday Snippet: Volume I!

As the winter season has finally slowed down, I thought it might be fun (and maybe just fun for me) to do a weekly post of something other than my own pictures – be it wedding inspiration, home decor, gardening ideas or clothes – I’ll try to keep up with a “snippet” of my life outside of photography -yes, it does exist!

This week I dug into my home decor-living room inspiration folder to find these images. I really ought to post an image of our real living room as well, but that would require going downstairs and it’s cold down there, so maybe next week 🙂 Much of this could also translate over to the wedding world, as most design can so hopefully this can be helpful in that realm as well.

Wouldn’t this make the most beautiful if not fragile wedding bouquet??

Clearly light, breezy, earthy and “gardeny” is the theme of our house, and what better time (aka the ONLY time for me) to work on updating this 1950 cape cod than the beautiful lull of winter. So if you hear me tell you that I LOVE your wedding colors of grey and goldenrod and any variation of peach/blush/so on – it’s because my home is adorned in these colors as well and I live in them happily every day.

Also – be on the lookout for a fabulous contest we’re running, beginning next Sunday!
