Danielle contacted me a few months back about having some new pictures of her and her hubs at her grandfather’s beautiful Midwest property – and oh what wonderful property it was! It felt as though we’d been transported from Illinois to somewhere out west – it was magical. Danielle is a fabulous photographer, and it is always SUCH an honor to photograph other photographers. Though it always makes me smile that the first words I always hear from them are “I’m so terrible on the other side of the camera!”  Clearly that just wasn’t the case as these two were as natural and sweet and in love as they come. April blessed us with the most beautiful weather imaginable and I was in photographer heaven with the combination of these guys and lakes and sand dunes and aspen trees…sigh. You probably should just book Danielle to be your photographer because she has access to this amazing location!

Photographing married couples (who have been married longer than 2 hours…) is so much fun when most of what I shoot is those in the “fresh bloom” of romance. These two are still pretty fresh in the married field, but just their comfort together and way of talking without talking is one of those things that just comes with really knowing someone. And really, true love is helping your husband fix up old trucks in your spare time – I think Danielle wins ultimate wife award for that one. But really, sharing pass times together is such a huge part of making a marriage vibrant and fun – and these two are just that… Vibrant and fun and darling 🙂
